Moscow band iNFEkCiYA (Infection) was founded in 1986 and became the first trash-pank music band in the Soviet Union. The band existed with this staff up to 1990 and recorded six home albums, the majority of which has been lost. During the band existence with various staff, two full-scale albums were recorded in a studio: “Onanizm” in 1990 and "Hole For Navel” in 1992. After this the band broke up. However, in 1996 INFEKCIYA was ten and yet without instrumentalists within two days, Naik Borzov recorded an album playing all instruments along. The record was called “Take Your Bitch On Hands”. The band seemed to finish its work, but in 2006 at twenty, it experienced a relived interest to its art. Thereat, Naik decided to release a collection of the best band's things from three studio albums. Presentation of a new record “The Best Infection..s For Girls” was presented in a Moscow club “Ikra”. Participated with “Huy Zabej”, “Time to shit” bands and the revived INFEKCIYA (Naik Borzov - vox, guits; Arkhip Ahmeleev - bass, vox; Maxim Shevchenko - guits, vox; Alexey Kuznets Vacula - drums) became an outstanding and unprecedented festival of trash music. Even on preparation of «The Best Infection’s For Girls» the heroine of many songs of INFEKCIYA girl Mashen'ka which image was in a basis of design became a symbol of the band. In 2007 the symbol has come to life in full sense of this word. New member Barbie Punk-Rock has joined to the band, and now she plays percussion, keys and sings backs. With its full complement band records the new LP “Ochko” (in translation from Russian - "a hole in ass" or "21" as optimum count in gambling). The name and terms of release symbolize majority or 21 of the band in 2007. The LP represents a compilation of completely rerecorded old insurgents. In 2007 the band grows and prospers. October, 27 INFEKCIYA has played as headliner on «Ural Rock 2007» festival in Ekaterinburg. In December INFEKCIYA’s song «My Country» will be released on the cult Russian CD-collection of punk - music «Something Like Punks and so on... 8 and 9 ». And December, 23 the band will play on presentation of the CD in Moscow. Besides at the turn of 2007 year INFEKCIYA has finished work above DVD with the film-concert “Best4Girls” and release it. Video shooting of “The Best Infection..s For Girls” presentation in club "Ikra" December, 14, 2006 have lain in basis. The disk also contains old shootings of 90..s, interview with band members, and absolutely new video materials. In February 2008 band starts actively concretize and spread the album “Ochko” in the Internet free. April , 14 in Moscow club “B2” INFEKCIYA presents their first clip “From the mouth” (“Izo rta”). In May “Nikitin” record company releases the album OCHKO on CD, which presentation took place in Moscow club “Gogol’” June, 18. After it INFEKCIYA was invited to lots of popular Russian rock and punk festivals. June, 10 INFEKCIYA started to record absolutely new songs for the new album. Read more on Last.fm.
