(Indo Neko) was a new wave/post-punk indie band with psychedelic influences. They formed in Tokyo, Japan in 1986 and the lineup consisted of ヤマトヤ (Yamatoya) on vocals/guitar, くらげ (Kurage) on bass and アライ (Arai, previously known as ユウコ/Yuko) on drums. In 1989 they made their debut with an EP called (Ajanta no tsukiyo, Moonlit night in Ajanta). Indo Neko's next release was their first album (Mercurius) in August 1990. One year later, in August 1991 they released the single (Midgard) followed by an album called (Lemnos no tsuchi, Earth of Lemnos) in September. Around the same time they announced their disbandment. The band also made several appearances on omnibus albums and VHS videos.
