There are two Japanese bands with the name ジョゼ(joze), one active in Tokyo and the other active in Osaka. 1) Joze(Tokyo) consists is a three-piece outfit formed in 2010 active in the Tokyo area. So far they have released two demo CDs, the first which is already out of production. 2) Joze(Osaka) currently consists of members Moeco(Bass, vocals) and Chisako(Drums, chorus). Starting off as a 3-member band towards the middle of 2010, the band's guitarist, Hirata, left Joze in June 2011 following the release of their first EP, "Tobasu". Currently the band is touring with a support guitarist and hoping to recruit a permanent member to fill in the gap. Influenced by the film "Joze, the Tiger and the Fish", the band's signature intro song is the movie's theme song, Quruli's "Highway". They play edgy alternative rock, Chisako supplying the powerful percussive backbeat and Moeco belting out the vocals and the well crafted, impressive bass lines that come through very well through most of their songs.
