Sexy 8 (セクシー8) was one of three special "shuffle units" from Hello! Project in the summer of 2002. They sold the most singles out of the three groups. The shuffle theme was "happiness" and Sexy 8 had a romantic song relating to finding happiness in a relationship. They released only one single, "Shiawase desu ka?" (幸せですか?; "Are You Happy?") which included their version of a c/w song that was shared by all three shuffles. True to their name, they had eight members selected from Morning Musume (Mari Yaguchi, Maki Goto, Rika Ishikawa, and Hitomi Yoshizawa), Coconuts Musume (Ayaka), Country Musume (Mai Satoda), Melon Kinenbi (Masae Ohtani), and included soloist Michiyo Heike. The other two shuffle units that year were Happy 7 and Odoru 11. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
