Ikoma Rina (生駒里奈), nickname "Ikomachan" (いこまちゃん), born December 29th, 1995 in Akita, Japan is a Japanese idol singer and a leading member of idol group Nogizaka46's 1st Generation and AKB48's Team B. Ikoma had been learning to dance since childhood and became involved in show business with the encouragement of her father, who recommended Rina to audition for the idol group Nogizaka46. In 2011 she applied for the Nogizaka46 auditions among 38,934 other girls. She became one of 56 girls who advanced to the final round and in August she was chosen to become one of the 36 founding members. For Nogizaka46's debut single, "Guruguru Curtain", Rina was appointed to be one of the three centers in the title song's choreography. She became the only member who kept her center position in the second single, titled "Oide Shampoo". She also recorded a solo song to accompany the single, becoming the first member of Nogizaka46 to do so. Read more on Last.fm.
