Principal Shining assigned those 4 sempai to look after 'freshly' debuted ST☆RISH, and Ranmaru is as the senior assigned to train Masato Hijirikawa and Jinguji Ren in their Master Course. At the start, Ranmaru said that ST☆RISH wasn't anything special and they wouldn't make it far if they kept on relying on others, stating that he was only assissting ST☆RISH because the principal told them to. Later on he started to acknowledge rookies a bit. Ranmaru is a highly reactive and moody person, right into tsundere territory. He does however have a strong sense of duty. Considers himself a rocker through and through and has his own ideals about what 'being a rocker' actually means. He stated that he didn't think anything but rock could speak to him after hearing ST☆RISH's song Maji Love 2000%. He is in the fact fairly mysogynistic in nature, refusing to work with Haruka because he wouldn't sing a song written by a girl. It's known that the reason for this negative attitude is that the band he was in, in the past, were all disbanded because of women, and that the trust and dreams between the members were easly broken cause of that. He's show-offy and gives off the idea of feeling self-important, especially when he's performing. Also he doesn't quite get along with his fellow band member Camus (the two disagree quite often), while Reiji pranks and picks on him and Ai joins in on this.
