Min Sunye (Hangul: 민선예; Hanja: 閔先藝; born August 12, 1989, in Seoul, South Korea) is a singer, actress, spokesmodel, and leader of the South Korean idol group, Wonder Girls. Sunye attended Korea Arts High School and currently attends Dongguk University, majoring in drama; she is on a temporary leave-of-absence while promoting in America. In 2001, Sunye was first discovered by JYP Entertainment during Park Jin Young’s 99% Challenge project. Sunye showed off her singing and dancing talents at the young age of 12 and has since undergone training at JYP Entertainment. She is one of the longest serving trainees of JYP (the other being Jo Kwon from 2AM), having trained from her discovery in 2001 up until her debut with the Wonder Girls in 2007. On November 26th, 2012, JYP Entertainment announced that Min was going to marry her boyfriend of one year, James Pak. She got married on January 26, 2013. Read more on Last.fm.
