A band formed in September 1979 in New York City with Lydia Lunch, bass player George Scott III of James Chance & the Contortions/The Raybeats, Jim Sclavunos, as well as Michael Paumgardhen and Pat Irwin of The Raybeats. After George Scott overdoses on August 05, 1980 the remaining bandmembers record 5 tracks at Bobby Blank's studio and then split up in October 1980. Their music was infectiously rhythmic and visceral, using throbbing bass guitar, lugubrious saxophone playing and Lunch's petulant vocals. Read more on Last.fm.
