AKNOOL is Estonian hardcore-punk band. AKNOOL has been performing from year 2001, practically in immutably form, own-kind and repeatedly agressive cacophonic deep-minded social critical underground-punk-fuck style music. AKNOOL's on-stage activity has always been unpredictable, shocking and chaotic. The concerts have often ended with chaos where the band breaks instruments and sound system, injure themselves and insult the audience. Scandals have been with AKNOOL since the first concert in Vasalemma ("Jaani-Punk 2001") where hard-core strippers came to the stage with bands. The band has given almost 50 concerts. AKNOOL has also performed in Helsinki club "Faktory" where was arranged a fight in which all the band members attended. In year 2005 people were irritated by the part of "performance" the organizer where freewilled couple attempted to have sexual intercourse. The band consists of four people: Aknool (vocal), Olku (drums, solo), Verine Svente (bass, solo) Alaealine Tarvi (drums). Through times have been in group other famous punk-rockers such as Macaron, Ergo (Noa Jofe), Möllu (Jaanika), Merit. Band's hometown is Keila (Geila). It's about 20 kilometres from Estonia's capital Tallinn. Discography: Anti Natsi 2003 Paanikaosakond 2006 For known reasons these CD's are unable to be bought from "commercial monopols" AKNOOL has also a following. It consists of people who have marked their body or clothing with band's name. The band itself is independent and and doesn't belong to any movement and doesn't support any political organizations. All the members lack from musical education. Most of them have not finished primary school or high school. Read more on Last.fm.
