AlascA is an indie band, originally from the town of Volendam, The Netherlands. Band members are Frank Bond (vocals, guitars), Ferdinand Jonk (guitars, banjo, vocals), Louis van Sinderen (drums, percussion), Maarten Stok (bass) and Paul Bond (keys, vocals). Their sound has been described as country, but has also drawn comparisons to Crosby, Stills & Nash, Calexico, Midlake and Love. The band's début album, Actors & Liars, was released in February 2012.
