Albinobeach

The New Single to a catalogue of live and recorded material was launched on 10/10/2011. Albinobeach is an instrumental Post Rock trio based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The band began exploring the unvoiced niche in 2006 and gradually became a much talked about act, most notably after their introduction of video laden stage productions. Albinobeach draws its influence from a diverse mix of sounds and imagery – those of bygone eras and the future probable. They are described as an act that transcends the post-rock genre, more epic than most, and certainly not brash. Employing lateral writing styles and the intensity of postmodernist thought, and crisscrossing the primal echo of Africa’s spirit, the band takes its listeners to a place that can only be described as earth-bounding. Albinobeach have so far released their self titled debut EP with North Carolina label Forgotten Empire Records in 2008. A Single "Angolan Girls" was released in 2011 After its international unveiling, albinobeach has enjoyed moderate attention from the US, Canada, Italy, Belarus, Russia, Spain, France and the Ukraine.
