All the Pretty Horses is a dark glam/metal band based in Minneapolis, Minnesota and fronted by transgender lead singer Venus de Mars. The band has seen a varying lineup over its long history, perhaps most notably with fellow transgender bandmates Tempest and Jendeen. The band briefly disbanded in 2006 so that each member could follow separate musical career paths. Venus De Mars pursued a solo career, releasing one album, Trashed and Broken Hearted. After a short stint with House of Flowers, Venus resumed performing with All The Pretty Horses, reuniting with former drummer Matt Bachelor. Tempest, along with bandmate Jendeen went on to resurrect Harsh Reality. Both are active in several other local bands, including The Wolverines and Apocalypse Theater. Read more on Last.fm.
