Hailing from Lampeter, Wales, UK, Alphane Moon is a psychedelic project formed by Dafydd Roberts and partner Ruth, also members of Our Glassie Azoth. Instead of the fractured drones of their other incarnation, Alphane Moon generally favors a more delicate, often acoustic glaze, as in the calmer side of Flying Saucer Attack. Their full-length "The Echoing Grove" was recorded in 1994 but released some years later. Heavy echo is used throughout, making a basic guitar pluck sound stretched out and an electric touch even more strangely alien. Read more on Last.fm.
