Andrew Gavin Williams was born in Columbus, OH. He is a founding member of the folk band Deadwood Floats. He writes, records and produces music for their records as well as his own projects on the side. His influences include Thom Yorke, Tim Smith, Elliott Smith, Dylan, McCartney, Harrison, Lennon, Andrew Bird, Gregory Alan Isakov, Kristian Matsson, Justin Vernon, Matthew Houck and Fionn Regan. He is a pacifist with Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Systems and is currently raising a cat named Junie.
