Now that his debut single is only a few days away from release, it's time we address a question that's been on our minds for several months now: Who is Andybody? The mysterious ambassador from Dada Land made his first appearance back in January with a remix of "So Young So High" for his benefactors, Dada Life: When this track was released, the Dada boys had only this to say: "Who is Andybody? The Boss won't let us release that information but we can say that he/she/they are a new ambassador of Dada Land... and you'll be hearing more in 2013." Last month, we got a taste of "The First Bass is the Deepest", Andybody's first single for the So Much Dada imprint. It's a heavy electro house jam worthy of the Dada stamp of approval, for sure. But the question remains: Who is Andybody? We've heard whispers around the Internet suggesting that Andybody is actually Swedish producer Andy Harding, who made a tune called "Rageface" that sounds nearly identical to Andybody's single. However -- and perhaps tellingly -- nearly all traces of both 'Andy Harding' (Facebook, Twitter, SoundCloud, etc.) and 'Rageface' (the song, not the meme) have been purged from the net. Both names still live on as relics if you search Google for the terms, but you'll come up empty-handed at every link. So, who is Andybody? It's driving us bananas! But hey, the mystery is probably half the fun -- the other half consists of killer tunes, of course. Look out for "The First Bass is the Deepest", out May 27, and be sure to let us know what you think about this elusive Andy Harding character. Read more on Last.fm.
