APURIMAC started as a band in 1983. A time when in Greece, the Latin music sounds like something “ exotic “. Through all those years, they are established as one of the most long life groups in, Greece, while giving more than 1.500 live concerts. In 1986 they recorded “ Yesterday and Today “ , a revision of traditional Indian songs from Andes. In 1989 they release “ There In Brahamas “, with the appearance of Loukianos Kilaidonis . In 1992, the “ Dream Piracy “ was an independent release . In 1993, they took part in Vasilis Kazoulis record “ Something To Shine “. In 1997, they recorded “ Mother Earth “. Here, they set the music for Indian poems with the appearances of C. Katsimichas who versified the lyrics, P. Thalassinos and D. Panourgias. In 1998, they participated in LYRA’S set “ To Vangelis With Love “ revising songs of Vangelis Germanos. In 2000, they took part in Latin production “ In Latin Rhythm “ .
