Batman (Best of All Time MAN) Samini is originally known as Emmanuel Samini. Samini means Rain God in his native language. He has now dropped the Batman and simply known as Samini even though his fans still call him Batboy, Batio, etc. He is known as the raglife dada and dancehall stopper. He is one of the biggest artistes in Ghana judging on his ability to feature on many successful hits. He began to enter the international spotlight after winning the Best African musician award at the MOBOs (British). His first album, Dankwansere, means bat. He helped popularize signatures in Ghanaian contemporary music with his 'Boi' or 'Kpoe'. He calls it a gun shot sound and a signal which is meant for all the back bitters. "We kill them dead".
