Formed 2008 in Gosport, Southern England, four-piece Bear Cavalry are a band consisting of Louis Pinder (Guitar, Vocals, Keyboards), Dan Kirk (Guitar, Trumpet, Synthesizers), Owen Ballantyne (Bass) and Matthew Cooke (Drums). They play multi-genre progressive dance-rock with an experimental indie attitude. In 2009 they self-recorded and released an EP entitled 'Two Seasons' and in 2010 released another free EP 'Canadia'. In August 2010 the band recorded their third EP 'Maple Trails' with ¡Forward, Russia!'s Tom Woodhead, Maple Trails was mastered by Sam Manville (ex-BlakFish) and was released on the 23rd of March 2011. In October 2012 they released their fourth EP entitled 'Puryss' through Alcopop! Records. BANDCAMP, MYSPACE, FACEBOOK, TWITTER They also live in Matthew Cooke's shed, and are made from candyfloss.
