www.myspace.com/beforemyend Before My End is an American deathcore band from Selma, Alabama. Before My End was founded in November 2007 by members Jake Day(Vocals), Clay Smith(Guitar), and Matt Rhodes(Bass/Backup vocals), later adding Bryan Myracle(Guitar) and Matt Williams(Drums) to the line-up. After working hard compiling 4 songs, the band played a few shows before parting ways with Matt Williams. Williams was replaced by Reid Surrett, who pushed the band forward with his fast drumming and technical approach, completely revamping the BME's sound. Soon after Surrett's entrance, Myracle left the band to pursue his job and a relationship with this girlfriend. He was replaced by Winston Todd, who helped influence the band to the likes of Veil of Maya and At the Throne of Judgment. After playing about 35+ shows locally and regionally over the course of 3 months the band started preparing to record an EP. During the months of November and December, Before My End set down to polish the already written songs and began to record pre-production demos. Before My End recorded their EP entitled “Dearly Beloved” in February of 2009 with Brian Hood of MyChildren MyBride at 456 Studios in Athens, AL. Over the course of those 2 years, Before My End has shared the stage with big acts such as Winds of Plague, Impending Doom, Shai Hulud, MyChildren MyBride, and Born of Osiris before calling it quits in 2009. TL;DR Before My End is the most amazing Queen Cover band ever, with their vocalist, Jake Day striving to be more like Freddie Mercury as each day passes. Read more on Last.fm.
