Brane Zorman Vs BeitThroN BRANE ZORMAN com-poser, sound-manipulator - born in 1962, composer, works as a freelance artist – composer in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Leader, composer and singer for legendary slovenian social - political punk-rock group O! KULT (1982 – 1986), also known as one of the most police controlled persons in Slovenia at that time, the group was censored and banned many times in media and during performances. The group took part in political and cultural movement for free and democratic civil society in SFRJ. In 1998 he started composing in his own studio and as a solo artist and a composer, composed and produced music for more than 30 theatre and dance performances, film and installations. He has released several theatre soundtrack CDs as well as couple dance EPs for various slovenian labels. He is the mastermind behind the project BeitThron which appears in differect forms and colaborations since 1991. The BeitTHroN project is considered as a one of the pioneers and creators of techno-electronic-dance scene in Slovenia. He produced and recorded first CD soundtrack in Slovenia (1992) and first DTS surround encoded soundtrack for a theatre performance in Slovenia (2001), he designs sound and sound effects for and with numerous theatre, video, dance, internet and performance artists in Slovenia.
