in the rockabilly hall of fame, sold over a million records of his song ROCK DOLL Bernie Early performed on the radio when he was fifteen, playing bass and guitar in a blue grass band. At seventeen, he was singing country music in clubs and lounges. At nineteen he was discovered by Fats Domino's manager, who took him to New York City, where he signed with MGM Records. Selling over a million records of a song he wrote called Rock Doll, he appeared on American Bandstand coast to coast with Dick Clark and has worked with Brenda Lee, and many other celebrities. He was later signed by Columbia Records where he wrote and sang Country songs. He is currently signed to Rockabilly Sun Records where he writes and performs his own songs. Talk about paying his dues.
