Tomas Høffding aka Bon Homme is the singer and bassist of WhoMadeWho. Although regularly receiving adoration with his band, and having his own retreat at an old farmer’s house in Sweden, Thomas was still missing something that he alone created and was artistically independent of WhoMadeWho. After establishing a second living as an electro DJ, Tomas soon reasoned that he had to move deeper into the music than just selecting and mixing other people’s tracks. He wanted to create his own pieces that he could present at live solo performances with his small setup consisting of a computer, chimes and a theremin. Hence Tomas chose the Pseudonym Bon Homme to do what he had to. Over the past 2 years he produced 10 pieces that merge electronica and Krautrock elements with poppy hooks, techno rhythms and catchy chord progressions. Tomas’ harmonic heritage as a member of WhoMadeWho shines through on psychedelic loops and his unique falsetto-like vocals. With those ingredients carefully put together, the result is often an ironic and uncouth mix of styles, where he always manages to come up with substantial lyrics. Read more on Last.fm.
