http://www.bromheads.tv/ www.facebook.com/Bromheads https://twitter.com/bromheads Returning with their first full length album since the transition from Bromheads Jacket to Bromheads, ‘CHORO’ is a fizzing entity of perpetual energy that is sure to make an impression. Released on the 15th April, ‘CHORO’ will be available on digital download and CD through Townsend/Universal, and is available to pre-order at www.bromheads.tv from 11th February. Bromheads’ last release saw the band give away individual tracks to their fans for free over the course of a year, eventually compiled into ‘The Lamp Sessions’. However with ‘CHORO’, the process has been a much more concentrated and concerted effort, in a passionate attempt to capture the raw quality of live recordings. Lead singer, Tim Hampton, details the manner of recording as such, “We wanted to capture that excitement you get in the practice room when you first play a song together that's only just been written. If there's mistakes so what? The idea was to capture the rawness and energy you get from playing something new.” The single taken from the album, ‘Gonna Let You Melt’, available for free download, is the perfect symbol for this refined attitude from Bromheads, which itself was ‘written and demoed’ the night before the band went into the studio. Unbounded and unabashed, ‘CHORO’ is a swift return to form for this eponymous Sheffield band. Read more on Last.fm.
