There are two bands by the name Burning Tree: 1: Burning Tree are a U.S. three-piece much in the style of Cream & Hendrix. They had a short-lived career and one eponymous album on Epic in 1990. Members were Marc Ford (guitar and vocals - who left to play guitar for The Black Crowes on their second album onwards), Mark Dutton (bass - who later engineered for the Brian Jonestown Massacre), and Doni Gray (drums - later was a member of Izzy Stradlin & the Ju Ju Hounds). They reformed for a live show at the end of 1999 and some footage and interviews can be seen here: http://mefeedia.com/entry/1606945/ Their mySpace page is: http://www.myspace.com/burningtreeprod 2: A reggae band from Florida Members: David Rothe-Vocals/Guitar, Mark Georgieff, Guitar, Mike Fratone - Bass, Frank Meza- Drums website at: http://www.reverbnation.com/burningtree 3: Dutch free/energy jazz duo Burning Tree consists of Dag Erik Knedal Andersen on drums and Dag Stiberg on sax.
