Callaway & Rosta

For childhood friends Jacob Lundahl and Alexander Rosta, music has always been a big part of the picture. After playing in the same rock band during their early teens, Alex discovered dance music and started Djing at various Stockholm nightclubs, gaining quite the reputation. After having won the Movida/Corona DJ challenge in Sweden, and later finishing second in the European edition of the contest, it is safe to say that Alex's Djing skills are prominent. Jacob fell in love with house music after spending a summer in France in the early 2000's. He gained an interest in producing and started playing around with different sounds, heavily influenced by the likes of Daft Punk, Mylo and early Angello & Ingrosso. Eventually Jacob grew interested in Djing, wanting to be able to play his own tracks in clubs. In the meantime, Alex had become interested in producing and wanted to learn more about the production of house music. Today, after working many nights in their Stockholm studio, the duo are ready to release their first single together, featuring the talented vocalist Daniel Gidlund (Nause, Dada Life). With a great sense of what works on the dance floor and with a special fondness of uplifting melodies, Callaway & Rosta is eager to find out what the year 2013 has in store for them.
