The Capitolo 6 is a progressive rock italian band. The band was born in 1969 from the fusion of Gli Eremiti from Viareggio and I Rangersi from Livorno. Their sound is strongly inspired by the Jethro Tull, in particular in the use of the flute, but distinguish itself by including different kinds of keyboards. The group participated to few italian rock festivals in the early seventies, obtaining a record deal with IT dischi. They based themselves in Rome and published an album, frutti per kagua, with a very progressive and brillant one-track first side, and a quite different side B, with 3 tracks which lyrics were written by Francesco de gregori, a then-famous italian singer. After publishing another couple of singles, the band disappeared in 1975. Main line-up: Riccardo Bartolotti (vocals, guitar, flute) Loriano "Fischio" Berti (sax, flute) Jimmy Santerini (keyboards, vocals) Mauro Romani (bass) Lorenzo Donati (drums, vocals) Read more on Last.fm.
