Carpet Stains? was originally thought of by Brad Gee and Jef Hargay back in the year of 2005... it was during their years in high school, specifically South Western High School located in Hanover, Pennsylvania. It was not until the year of 2007 (current) that they actually decided to record a song... the song was titled "Godzillan It" which was a rip on P. Diddy's recording of "Come With Me" featured on the Godzilla soundtrack. There were four recordings of "Godzillan It" (with the final recording feature a guest bassist [Clintwon Shaffer]). It was then decided that the band could only have four recordings of each song, so perfection was expected in a little amount of time. The band has since then taken a little time to come around and record another song... but eventually they got around to recording their second single, entitled "Smells Like Shit"... it's a rip on "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana. The band has also decided to record all of their songs live, have only two people in the band, and have the singer (Jef Hargay) freestyle all of the words (even if it's a second, third, fourth take of the song). Band members: Brad Gee (Guitar) Jef Hargay (Drum tracks laid down on piano, singer) See also: Electronic Mail, Jef Reznor, SoundCloud Read more on Last.fm.
