Christopher Ryan Trousdale (born June 11, 1985) is a solo pop singer, dancer, and actor. Trousdale was born in New Port Richey, Florida to a Greek American father and an Irish American mother.[1] He has performed in various Broadway shows including The Sound of Music and Les Miserables. He was also a member of the Broadway Kids (whose alumni include Christy Carlson Romano, Lacey Chabert and Greg Raposo), with whom he recorded several CDs. In 1999, he was chosen to be one of the five members of the teen boy band Dream Street (formerly known as 'Boy Wonder' -minus Matt, Frank, and Jesse-), created by Brian Lukow and Louie Baldonieri alongside Gregory Raposo, Matthew Ballinger, Frank Galasso, and Jesse McCartney. The group's debut album, released on edel Records in July 2001, was #1 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums Chart its first week of release and has gone on to sell a million copies nationwide. In 2002, the band broke up over a legal dispute between the group members and their parents. Trousdale, since then has gone solo and is currently developing his own material for his CD to be released sometime *late* 2006. The Biggest Fan, co-starring Trousdale and Kaila Amariah, was released on home video and DVD in May 2005 (featuring original remastered Dream Street track "You're Taking Me Over" and remade tracks "I Miss You," "I Say Yeah," "This Time," and "Jennifer Goodbye" was released in 2002). Trousdale has been a big hit on Radio Disney via his duet hits with the girl group Play (rendition of "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me") and solo artist Nikki Cleary (remake of the Grease track "You're the One that I Want"). Trousdale is currently working on the final stage of his solo album along with Play's Anna Sundstrand. He has a few new dancers by his side and is currently looking into starting a real tour sometime late 2007 shortly after the release of his album. Read more on Last.fm.
