CITY OF GLASS started in Vancouver, BC, in the summer of 2008. At the helm are two close friends, Michael Champion and David Phu. Their passion for pop rock melodies, minimalism and dance music is clear in their writing and performance. Talent, innovation and determination have propelled COG and audiences are catching on. COG specialize in pop rock that goes from catchy and hip-shaking to heart-on-the-sleeve emotional. Using clean riffs, synthscapes and snappy beats their fresh and dynamic songs will instantly move you. Fans of New Order, The Cure, golden-era Coldplay, Minus the Bear and The Whitest Boy Alive will certainly take to this band. Their previous demo, released in November 2008, unexpectedly made its way into indie radio in the UK, US and Canada. With the help of pop artist/producer Winston (Hey Ocean!, Hannah Georgas) and studio genius Shawn Cole (You Say Party! We Say Die!, Bend Sinister), COG are enthusiastic that their music will get audiences moving. CITY OF GLASS’ current EP, "EQUATIONS," was released on July 21, 2009.
