Clark Beckham is a singer-songwriter from Tennessee who has quite a history with music. From a young age, Clark was introduced to music by his mother, and together they would often listen to songs by The Jackson Five, Marvin Gaye and Tom Jones. As a church going singer, Clark picked up the guitar from his father at the age of 12, and by the age of 15 he had mastered it and moved on to learning to play piano. With the encouragement of his parents, Clark has toured and performed at various venues and churches with a choir he joined up with. Clark studied at a university in Tennessee. Being a multi-instrumentalist, Clark describes himself as being bluesy, pop and a crooner. Clark has been greatly influenced musically by his parents. While his mother exposed him to music, his father is seen by Clark as his music icon–the singer he has learned from and has influenced him the most. Clark is also a singer on American Idol this season (2015). Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
