Clay has released four recordings on the Seattle based Origin Arts record label. He has performed throughout Europe, Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, the South Pacific and Caribbean and Japan. Clay also served as musical director for shows in Atlantic City and has performed at such well known New York jazz clubs as Birdland and the Knitting Factory. Having been influenced by all types of music, Clay draws from these idioms in his own compositions and in the interpretation of others.
