The band was born ten years ago in a test tube. The radiating blue substance was Nick Scialli and Ben Payes, creating an undiscovered creative bond sparked by 90s alternative rock. Years of incubation allowed them to adapt, add their own influence to the sound. Songs like ‘The Neighborhood’ and ‘Bully’ are the initial biproduct, perfectly exuding those crashing rock guitars and drums but adding twists and turns with weird, yet elegant synths and harmonies. Brian Abbott (Drums) and Todd Evans (Guitar) joined them soon after, adding years of touring and studio experience. The band composes and writes for themselves, but their influences and tastes are so diverse that anyone can drink their Kool-aid. Producer Justin Long joined them in 2012 to help them harness the sound in their debut EP, Neighborhoods. Somewhere along the way, they’ve developed their own style of rock, but it’s not so different that it’s unrecognizable. We like to think of it as Clones of Clones, the slightly mutated test tube baby of your favorite rock bands. Read more on Last.fm.
