There are two bios for this artist. One bio is truthful and carefully devoid of any and all embellishment (in other words it's probably the one you should take seriously) while the other is an elaborate exaggeration of the philosophies and facts surrounding the progenitor's stance on black metal, mathematics and being an elite genius (Chris IS an elite genius, but he's just a little hesitant to tell you about it and make you feel like a complete poseur). 1.) Clouds Collide is a one-man "blackgaze" project founded in 2012 by Chris Pandolfo. That year a single song titled "As if a dead leaf" appeared on the internet followed by a digital download of Cloud's first LP "Until the wind stops blowing". Shortly thereafter Khrysanthoney released the debut album as a strictly limited physical edition. Clouds Collide intends to release a split album with fellow blackgazers Sleeping Peonies in 2014 followed by their second full-length album. Clouds Collide's music is based on the seasons and the moods and memories they bring. Official website: https://www.facebook.com/cloudscollideofficial 2.) Clouds Collide is a one-man "blackgaze" project founded in 2012 by Chris "nSANE1", a self described multi-instrumentalist, existential philosopher and black metal prodigy who sees a dire need for the black metal scene to be less stupid and more accepting of musical experimentation lest it wishes to die in a stagnating puddle of its own self-righteous delirium. The music of Clouds Collide is slow, dense, and thought provoking - parallels are sometimes drawn by obtuse fans to bands like Lonesummer and Airs, but the more reasonable listener will find that Chris' work has little in common with those two outside its reverb-rich aestheticism and instead shares an emotionally rich continuum with the likes of fellow blackgazers Sleeping Peonies, and Nameless Coyote. In a recent interview, Chris "nSANE1" stated "I will continue pushing my sound in a direction that no one has ever heard before, and I will continue to show people that when you think outside the box, and you are a musical prodigy like I am, that when you add 2 + 2 you get 5 because getting 4 just means you're a conformist with a self-defeating personality (stagnating in a puddle of your own self-righteous delirium)". Clouds Collide's first full-length record, "Until the wind stops blowing...." was released in January of 2013 as a free digital download. It was also released on Khrysanthoney records as a physical edition the same year. "Until the wind stops blowing" was on nearly every 2013 year-end-best-of list, excluding Pitchfork which is fake and sucks any way. Read more on Last.fm.
