In a genre that favors style, substance is hard to come by. Up-and-comers, Connelly, are building a reputation of pursuing the latter by establishing themselves with solid song-writing and intense live performances. Each member learned the ropes of the Orange County music scene from working in former bands; Tyler Burman (vocals) and Ryan Blincoe (keys & electronics) in one, and Ryan Jimenez (guitar), Jason Pagano (bass), Shea D'Amore (drums & vocals), and Mark Milward (guitar) coming from another. Past experience led them to accept nothing less than excellence in their music and performance. After locking themselves in a rehearsal studio for a year, they went into the studio with legendary producer, Paul Miner (Death By Stereo, Thrice, Throwdown) to record their debut EP. "We wanted perfection; The best out of all of us," Mark Milward stated. Taking the time to refine every detail in and out of Buzzbomb Recording Studios became compulsory, from rewriting song structure to editing feedback effects, nothing was overlooked. Connelly's EP "The Inevitable Truth," is aiming to impress and will be self-released on February 17. Read more on Last.fm.
