Cory Band is a Welsh brassband. They are recognised as one of the Principality's finest and most inovative music ensembles. The Cory Band is conducted by Robert Childs. In 2009 Cory celebrated their 125th anniversary, won the Welsh Regional championships in Swansea, the European Brassband Championships in Ostend Belgium, the World Music Contest in Kerkrade Holland (and with it the title of 'World Champions') and the British Open Brass Band Championship in Symphony Hall, Birmingham. The Cory Band was winner of the European Brassband Championships in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Read more on Last.fm.
