Da'vidノ使徒:aL (pronounced dabide shito aeru) was an indies visual kei band formed in Osaka in June, 1997 by リエット (Rietto) with エルゼ (Eruze), guitarist and bassist respectively who were looking for members. ミサ (Misa), ex-bandmate of リエット from 嘆キ使徒, was in contact with them and he was already writting songs before joining. リエット and エルゼ then thought twin bass would be cool, and they remembered ミサ played bass, so they called him to join. Last member to arrive was vocalist ピエトロ (Pietoro), who was playing drums in his previous band and was a childhood friend of リエット. Besides playing bass, ミサ also sang along with ピエトロ in most songs. Da'vid didn't had an official drummer, though 大野正輝/M.OHNO (Oono Masaki, who had already worked with them in 嘆キ使徒) did support drumming during the first period, and later Kyon (ex-MARY RUE) joined too as support drummer towards the end. There was also another member, ピエトロ's alter-ego and anti-thesis: 黒ピエ who appeared during live shows and sometimes in some pictures of the band. Their mini-album "HOSHI NO HAKO" was produced by Euro from SPEED-iD under ENAMELL. Later they joined the Kreis label and their last release was produced by Yukiya from D≒SIRE. They disbanded in January, 1999, although they had already decided disbandment one month before. Still in Kreis, ピエトロ and エルゼ changed their stage names to -F- and Noble respectively and formed a new band with a whole new concept, but that was somewhat tied to Da'vidノ使徒:aL: pleur. Kyon also joined as drummer, now as an official member. ミサ, after releasing a solo demo tape in December of 1998, formed Klein Kaiser after the disbandment. Sadly there's no news about リエット after the disbandment. About 大野正輝, he continuned pursuing music to this day, he's nowdays the drummer in various jazz projects.
