David Condos is an indie pop singer-songwriter who began performing in Nashville, TN in 2006. Condos was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in Omaha, NE. He began writing songs on guitar during college when the band he was playing drums in broke up. Soon thereafter, Condos recorded his debut LP, smoking city, in Nashville, TN with producer Tom Laune (R.E.M., Bruce Springsteen, Alex Chilton) and band members Ian Leach (guitar), David Grant (drums), Koral Michaels (vocals), and Hannah Schroeder (cello). The self-released album was mastered at Sterling Sound in NYC by Chris Athens (Coldplay, Ben Folds, Johnny Cash) and is now available on iTunes, CD Baby, and Amazon. Following the release of smoking city, Condos and band embarked upon a number of US tours, with stops from New York to California. Songs from smoking city have been featured on television programs such as The Hills (MTV), One Tree Hill (The CW), Kyle xy (ABC Family), The Simple Life (E!), and Newport Harbor (MTV). In 2007, the song i should be lost without you was released nationwide through Barnes & Noble bookstores as part of a compilation CD titled "Sunday Music Vol. 1", alongside such artists as Rufus Wainwright, Peter Gabriel, Elbow, Patty Griffin, Joseph Arthur, Josh Rouse, Nickel Creek, and more. Condos' latest recording, like wolves ep, was digitally self-released in 2008 and is now available on iTunes and Amazon. The three-song collection was recorded with producer Tom Laune and band members Koral Michaels, Ian Leach, Michael Ford Jr. (bass), Noah Denney (drums), and Hannah Schroeder in Nashville, TN. The EP's title track, like wolves, is featured in the motion picture Nothing But The Truth which stars Kate Beckinsale, Matt Dillon, and Alan Alda. The film was released nationwide through Sony Pictures in 2009 and is now available on Amazon. In early 2009, Condos branched out to form a new band, Milktooth, with Smoking city and like wolves ep alumni Ian Leach, Noah Denney, and Michael Ford Jr. The band recorded their debut EP with longtime friend Tom Laune in Nashville, TN and self-released it that summer. It is now available on iTunes, CD Baby, and Amazon. Songs from the Milktooth EP have been featured on television programs such as Keeping Up with the Kardashians (E! Network) and The Real World (MTV). Since the release of their debut EP, Milktooth has toured across the southeast, midwest, and east coast and has released two more EPs: Halloween in Santa Ana (7-inch vinyl) and Acoustic Sessions, which features an unplugged cover of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean (Acoustic).
