From A small town called Sunbury, Ohio, hardcore band Death Of An Era managed to blow the brains out of many local youth. Their music seduced people into the ways of the hardcore dancer, and their song "Black & White" off of their 2009 demo, gushed onto the scene, becoming a hit within the band's hometown. Death Of An Era consists of Dan Simpson on synthesizers and lead vocals, Andrew "Kidd" Morrison on bass guitar and back-up vocals, Chris Cooper on guitar and back-up vocals, Chris' younger brother Michael Cooper on drums, and Glen Allison on lead guitar. The majority of the band lives a straight-edge lifestyle, abstaining from illegal drug use and casual sex. The band has been constantly working their way towards a greater fan base, as they have been playing gigs in nearby Columbus, Ohio at least once a month for an entire year. So far, Death Of An Era has played shows with such bands as Miss May I, It's All The Rage In Norway, and Kill The Envious. The band has even gone so far as to planning a tour in the summer of 2009 with Us Against The Stars, covering the states of Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island and New Jersey.
