Demontré (demonstrated in French) is a three-piece indie band from London, United Kingdom, formed in the middle stages of the year 2009. The lineup consists of: Jonathan Mead (vocals, guitar), Daniel Ayres (bass), Callum Brown (drums). Demontré's sound is rhythmic backlines with major washed guitars. A sound-alike of post-punk with shoegaze & psychedelic rock. All three were classmates at school, but never met each other until they finished it. Formed the band in mid 2009, under the name The Culture. Near the end of the year, they changed their name to "Demontré" and had their debut release, a single entitled Brandenburg / Act III Scene V (Days Of Yore) . In 2010, they released their limited in copies EP Masculin / Féminin. In October 2011, they released another single called Reigning. http://www.myspace.com/thisisdemontre http://www.facebook.com/pages/Demontre/55386594122 Read more on Last.fm.
