As much as there is an ongoing evolution for Dinner And A Suit, there are things that will always remain unchanged. Fueled by momentum from their 2012 LP Since Our Departure, the Jersey-born, Nashville-based rock outfit has spent the past two years in motion. There has been non-stop touring, critical praise and global highlights – all building blocks for a band on the rise – that have laid the groundwork for continued exploration. And so it’s fitting that Dinner And A Suit will release their new EP STAY on October 7, 2014. Produced by Paul Moak (Lovedrug, The Weeks) at The Smoakstack in Nashville, TN, STAY was recorded live to tape – a first for Dinner And A Suit – and presents the band in their rawest state. The result isn’t a new direction for the band, but rather, an illumination of where they’re going while staying true to where they’ve been. STAY features the same musical consistency that has garnered the band nods like “Latest Obsession” from MTV, “Rising Tide” from Billboard and “Discovery Of The Week” from Last.FM. Yet, the EP is strikingly enhanced by a sonic meld of pulsing organic energy. And so STAY represents not only the convergence of a band’s musical evolution, but also the mark of a band finding their stride in the midst of an already impressive pace. Read more on Last.fm.
