Duke Ellington Meets Coleman Hawkins is a 1962 collaborative album uniting Jazz legend Duke Ellington with Coleman Hawkins, described by All Music as one of the greatest tenor saxophonists of all time. The album was reissued on CD in 1995 & again in 2007, the latter in a digipak, both reissues have an additional track. In 1995, the New York Times described it as "one of the great Ellington albums, one of the great Hawkins albums and one of the great albums of the 1960's". Read more on Last.fm.
