Dunderhonning is Ståle Fossheim, Tore Bakkland, Geir Bendiksen and Mikal Madsen, four young men from Harstad, northern Norway. Their music is fast, catchy and melodic, yet complex and layered, expressed by both up-beat, jagged riffs and longing, atmospheric wails. Dunderhonning has been situated in Oslo since 2007. Dunderhonning released their debut full-length on the 27th of September. It's entitled "Sakte ut av fokus" ("Slowly out of focus") and is available on platekompaniet, Spotify, iTunes and Wimp. It has received very positive reviews, including 5/6 in both Dagsavisen and Aftenposten. Their first release, the mini album "Ka du vente på?" ("What are you waiting for?") was released on the 19th of November on Guano Recordings, and is available for purchase on www.platekompaniet.no, cdon.com or on iTunes. It is also available as a free download on www.dunderhonning.com. The mini album received very positive reviews in the Norwegian press, including 5/6 in Dagsavisen and 4/6 on Norwegian national radio's Lydverket. Read more on Last.fm.
