There is more than one artist with this name. The most recent Durango band is an upcoming artistic act from Mexico City, debuting their first EP in 2009. Although they have grown within the mexican underground music scene, their debut album is positioning Durango as one of Mexico's best breakthrough artists for 2009, raising the eyebrows of music critics with their sublime rock, melodic voices, and eclectic influences. Durango usually integrates original visual arts on their performances. Another Durango band was an electropop studio project from Sydney, Australia, comprising Samantha Findley, Steve McMillan, Matt Bright and Shane Fahey, with Salli Odling doing guest vocals on 'Golden One'. All were involved with the Endgame Records label, and Megaphon Studios. Matt Bright, on guitar & keys, is also main songwriter for Alien Christ and previously Distant Locust. Shane Fahey is part of Social Interiors and previously The Makers of the Dead Travel Fast. Matt now has a new outfit called Galaxy Fuzz Band Another band named Durango is a Belgian outfit playing & producing a rather unique blend of blues, rock, and pop.
