EIGHTEEN WHEELS BURNING was formed by bassist/vocalist Jeff Mackey and guitarist Adam Valk after the demise of their band “THE WANT“. Shortly after releasing the stoner rock classic “Greatest hits Vol.5” on the southern lord label in 2000, the band broke up due to “musical differences”. After several attempts to form a new band, EIGHTEEN WHEELS BURNING was unleashed in 2005. The debut album “eighteen wheels burning” was released and the band supported such acts as Atomic Bitchwax, Sound of Urchin and The Moistboyz as well as touring the east coast and southern United States. In 2007 drummer Matt Cusack came aboard and brought more firepower to the burnin’wheels. Volume 2 is currently available in full-length preview here and will hit the shelves for purchase and download shortly. Read more on Last.fm.
