Elessär

Elessär was born in 2007 in Neuquén, Patagonia Argentina, when the two young brothers Howen and Joshua Rava –aged 13 & 15 – along with Manuel Rodriguez (bassist at that time) met the singer Alejandra Barro. When they heard her beautiful voice, they dropped their previous project and decided to start a symphonic metal band. When the first keyboardist joined in, the band started to rehearse and play covers of bands such as Sonata Arctica, Nightwish and Epica. During that year, Francisco Molinaroli joined the band as the new bass player and, soon after that, Elessär had already written its first song: Ice Queen. Having changed their keyboardist so many times had two different effects on the band: this delayed any intend of activity inside the band, and also their music ended up as the result of many different points of view. Nevertheless, after five years, Elessär –with Camilo Vidal as keyboardist- has decided to undertake the homemade recording of their first record which puts together all those different ideas and experiences through time. After we finished recording "Dark Desires", due to issues that didn't concern the band, we were forced to look for a new keyboardist. We are proud to announce that Enrique Stella is now part of Elessär.
