Ensemble Salazhar

The Dutch studio project Ensemble Salazhar was founded in 2005 by Ronald Bekking and Jeroen Paul Thesseling (Pestilence, Obscura) with the intent to bring world music into dialogue with other traditional and modern styles. The group's lineup was completed with pianist Hans Grotenbreg and percussionist/producer Jaap van Keulen. The quartet recorded and uploaded four demo tracks and never officially released other material. See also Salazh Trio.
