Fantastic Magic were a San Diego tropical psych folk trio. They played their first show in March 2007 at the Rosary Room and their last on September 28, 2008 at the Che Cafe. In their brief existence, they released "Witch Choir" in tape and CDR format on Abandon Ship Records and an untitled 7" on What Delicate Recordings. Nathan played electric guitar, mandolin, and sang in a falsetto. Matthew played a nylon-string guitar and warbled. Sundar played a variety of percussion and wind instruments and provided backing vocals. On their last show, Andrew provided extra percussion. Nathan now records beachy punk-tinged noise pop music as Wavves, Andrew creates soundscapes as Jeans Wilder, and Matthew, Sundar, and Andrew have a new band called Heavy Hawaii. Read more on Last.fm.
