Flyafter

Flyafter is a group of creative artists who have chosen music as their work of art. Flyafter was formed back in the year 2004, which at that moment the band had to survive with only 2 personnel. They were Hanan and Rully. The two of them have been best friends and played music together since their early years. Along with their developing skills, they started to create and modification music art. That before they decided to make their own kind of music. They used to play British Indie and Norwegian Alternatives type of music when they started out as a band. The reason was because there were only the two of them and they were using computerized effects and additional sound for their music. Eventually they have created 3 songs of their own, which have been recorded and have became their masterpiece for their live performances. They described their music as the combination of acoustic and electronic. That is why their friends described them as electronic music group. Their demos have been played on air all over Jakarta, Bandung, and Yogyakarta. And also in those cities,they were often asked to perform there. In the year 2005, Flyafter recruited another personnel,whose name was also Rully. But everybody called him, "A'a". A'a had a major roll in making Flyafter to become more alive.From that moment, the band was making progress. Until finally Flyafter has formed its own management. In the year 2008, the band stopped its activities, in order for all the personnel to finish their college education. But one year later,the band was back in business. The band even created and performed more than ever, that was for the fans from all over the world. In the year 2010, our few demo songs already sought by some indie music community in Europe, Asia, and America through cyberspace. And makes everyone easily enjoyed the "Flyafter EP" album with free download at various music sites on the internet. In creating works of music, Flyafter not just focus on genre or some specific music streams, because our musics is really universal. In every song we make, there are various nuances of different music. We combine various elements such as electronic music, acoustic, ethnic, ambient, chill out, disco, dnb, techno, shoegaze, and others in each of the every music we create. That it can be heard from the beat, the elements of instruments, guitar, drum machine, sound effects, on every Flyafter songs. Flyafter musics is very thick of the various elements electronic voices on their each musical instruments. We make music that should have used normaly musical instruments and generally make to be electronic music. And instead, we changed everything to sound like electronic music to be like using unusual musical instuments. All our that music instruments are foxes with all music machines we use. Unlike the band to the other electronic genres, Flyafter has different typically of songs. Primarily on beat of drum machine, a mix of vocal one with the vocals second, with a combination from acoustic and electric guitar, and was decorated by various sound effects are glazed and can anesthetize the audience to drift deeper into music carried by Flyafter. Distinctive character of our music is also contained in the rythms, or certain parts of each song. We brings listeners from the part of anti-climax until climax part, coupled with the minimalist feel of electronic sounds music and varied. Enjoy our musics. Flyafter.
