Fouxi’s Chansons join a multicoloured mix of melodies with inventive arrangements and surprising sounds. What’s more, they are all supported by the chansonnier’s sometimes squeaky, sometimes smoky but always wonderfully unconventional voice. (Tush-Magazin 2008) …pour moi Fouxi est un peu comme si le trip hop mélancolique de Bristol avait rencontré une certaine scène française, celle de Biolay que j’aime beaucoup sur „Je t’aime“ par exemple, ou de Mathieu Boogaerts dans „Trop Tard“… tout ça dans un univers joyeusement coloré. Donc sa musique pour moi est à l’image de l’univers qu’elle évoque: à la fois poétique, lyrique, mélancolique et singulier. C’est un univers fleuri et agréable qui n’appartient qu’ à elle, véritable personnalité artistique j’en suis convaincu. Fouxi est une fleur qui ne demande qu’à éclore… et qui me séduit.
