Fuka Lata is a musical duet, playing trans-like and hypnotic c songs based on electronic rhythms originating from processed electric guitar and characteristic deep bass. Fuka Lata consists of: Leedvd – samplers and vocals – previously a theatre actress, who decided to tell her own stories only and from 2006 creates electronic music singing about solitude, maturity and love. Mito - electric guitar – he started his musical adventure playing Punk, then for few years he worked as a DJ playing minimal techno. The need to do his own music made him eventually quit mixing somebody else’s music and explore further his guitar. At present he converts his guitar sounds to obtain atypical sounds similar to space/electronic music. In 2011 they released their first experimental record „Other Sides” on the Audiotong label. One of the tracks – Forbidden Places - was used in Anna Jadowska’s film”Form love”. Recently they performed at Moon Ride Festval/Kosice Moving Closer and Kobieca Transmisja [Female Transmission] Festivals in Cracow, at Magnetofon [Tape Recorder] Festival in Powiększenie Club in Warsaw and at Fląder Festiwal in Gdańsk. Before, Leedvd released a solo record “Łenajgiwittuju” on Audiotong. One of her songs turned up on The Wire Compillation. One year after she released another record “First I love” on Israeli label Bird Song . In 2009 she appeared at the Off Festival in Katowice with a band formed especially for this occasion called LeeDVD/Siupa. Read more on Last.fm.
